Member 24 Miramar, FL | Subject: RE: tradewinds triathlon oct 19 2008 The swim is a striaght shot so you can get into your rythm better. On the bike I ahted all the turns but there not to bad and then run was very nice. It should a good beginner race for you. |

The lake is a straight-shot, but it's in water that is rather "tea-colored" to a point where you can't see your hands at the bottom of your stroke. Lotsa sighting required. Ride is pretty nice all things considered. Run is short 2.5 I think. Because the course is closed, it makes the race atmosphere pretty nice. |

The only problem with that one lap bike course is that has too many U-turns...there are fast section but then you have to reduce speed to do the U-turns...LOL 750 dua/trithletes....it will be too crowd...LOL |

The weather was perfect...it help a lot....but It was a little windy during the swim and everybody was trembling before the Race... The Bike Course had too many U-turn that made us reduce the speed and it was too crowd...traffic... The run was great....the weather helped a lot... |
