Subject: Ladies-Sports Bra Question
Hi ladies,

I am curious if anyone can recommend a good sports bra? I am pretty big on top and the bras I have now aren't cutting it.

Any suggestions?

I gave up trying to find a single bra that would take care of all the support, so I just wear two.  I'm currently using the cheap-o Champion microfiber bras you can get at Target.  They don't chafe and layering them does the trick.

I'm also a fan of Moving Comfort Maia - it's an underwire, which I wasn't so sure I wanted in a sports bra - but I LOVE IT!!

X2  -  I wear a regular underwire bra with either the Champion or Walmart brand "Heavy Impact" over it!  It's the only thing I've ever found that really works!

Moving Comfort Fionna has been most raved sports bra for C-DD women on BT for years....they are highly adjustable for fit, don't squish for uni boob look and do well with wicking and drying out. You can find some fun colors and discounts if you do some google searching.

I had enell and found it supportive but like a tank, and not wicking.

I'm a huge fan of my CWX bras that are sized by cup and by S, M, L, etc.  I would venture to www.titlenine.com to look at a bunch of different bras that may give you good support.

If you're willing to throw down the cash, UnderArmour Endure D Cup is REALLY GOOD. I'm starting to swear by this bra. If you don't have the cash (as I didn't for so long) layering C9 bras is pretty good.

If you're willing to spend >$40 for a sports bra, then you will be able to find one (yes, you should only need one) that will hold everything in place. If you don't want to spend that much, you very well may have to wear two bras. But wearing 2 $25 bras is the same money as wearing 1 $50 bra, so I don't see the point in wearing two. Plus, two bras won't wick/dry the same way as one bra.

So check out www.titlenine.com or www.Athleta.com and find one that is REALLY high motion control. They sort theirs by the amount of support they give. You can then always look for the same bra somewhere cheaper (although TitleNine makes it hard because they give the bras different names, but you can find the manufacturer's site, and figure out the model name there.)

And for really good support you will probably need one that hooks in the front or back. The ones you pull over your head are not good at supporting anything over a C cup for high motion.  

I personally (36D) wear the MovingComfort Fiona bra. Some of mine are over two years old and still holding up strong.

I agree with the Moving Comfort. I found these at Academy over 4 year ago and love them! They make them all the way up to DD which I can never find. One style has underwire, and acts almost like a minimizer. The other style has adjustable shoulder straps that I usually make extra tight , so when I'm running they don't move around at all. The down side is that my shoulders usually hurt after awhile b/c my sports bra's straps are so tight. I guess there are some problems that us bigger chested women just have to deal with when it comes to running.

x whatever on Moving Comfort.  Wore them all the way through my pregnancy and back down again.  That and CW-X are all I can run in anymore.  The rest are relegated to my biking bras.

Just thought I'd add my two cents on the Moving Comfort. I have one from them that I got from Tittle Nine that I hate.  Of my three it's below the one I got for free when I was working at Victoria's Secret (not good - the VS one pinches on the side and I like it better).  My big problem w/it is that it totally gives me uni-boob and doesn't breathe at all - it's super sick.  My favorite is a white Champion C-cup one (and I'm a DD).  It's snug but not to tight, breathes, etc and I'm always sad when I go for a work out and it's in the laundry.  The biggest thing is that you really need to go and try them on and be willing to go with a cup size that's not what you think you are (although that's my advice w/all bras - I saw way to many ladies in the way wrong size when I was at VS because they refused to wear anything other than "their size").
