I'm in the car on the way home from Louisville (my first) and just signed up for MT! Condo has been booked for a month but I thought I'd pretend to be responsible and get the first under my belt before signing up for the second.

I've got a condo booked for M-T 2017 but I'm waiting to see if I get into Western States 100 lottery (held Dec 4) for next June's race.  If on the slim chance (2.5% chance) I get in then I'll race IMWI instead.  If I don't get in I'll switch my IMWI registration (already signed up) to M-T (assuming its still open in early Dec).  It will be my 4th time racing M-T which has become my favorite venue.

I'm in, waited a bit to enter, this will be my 4th time at IMMT, great course and the local community really gets behind the race. Hoping for a bit better weather than last year, but the day will be great no matter the weather.

Bib 2041 here, we are getting close. As per usual I am starting to monitor the weather, just for fun as I know it the predictions will change daily.

Also started looking at weather even though it's way early. Getting packing list together, watching weather and getting last workouts in before taper. Bib 1679. Good luck and have fun out there.

call me crazy
i registered last night for IMMT 2017 in 2 weeks
did IM Switzerland a week ago but the run did not end up well. stomach issues. recovered very fast and looking for a revenge

hopefully weather will not be as warm as in in Switzerland

will fly into Canada thu before the race. rent a car and I found an accomodation pretty far away from race venue like 10km

i will check back with booking.com later to see if there is something around town

how is parking on race morning?

Welcome Crazy!

I'll be there. Training has gone to hell the past few weeks due to work and life, but I wouldn't miss it.

I would say grab it, I have stayed there, right in the heart of the pedestrian village. Maybe 300 metres to transition.

Long stretches in aero, lots of nice long downhills.

During the race there will be plenty of opportunities to exchange bottles, so I'm thinking about going with the aero bottle and Gatorade bottle and fill up as necessary. What should I do?

If a heart patient can do these things, then so can those of you who haven't been split open like a fish and sewn back together.
