It looks like I'm getting a new bike for Father's Day. Today my 4 year old daughter was riding her bike and wanted to race. She said "Daddy, why don't you get out your old bike.... I mean, your bike, and race me?" I'll try to act surprised. I'm sure it won't be too fancy since our budget is tight, but it has to be better than the 20+ year old piece of crap I bought for $60 two years ago.

Yay! New bike fun!!! And 4-year-old fun!!

My first daughter went out when she was 2 1/2 with her daddy to buy me a Cmas present. She was bubbling over when she got home and I didn't want to ruin the surprise. It went something like this...
"Mommy! Mommy! We got you Christmas Present!!!"
"Wow! Is it a surprise?"
"NO! It's EARRINGS!!!"
Hope I never forget that one!
Congrats!

I did the same thing with a gift to my mom from me and my dad:

Me: Can you guess what it is?
Mom: No. Can I have a hint?
Me: Sure. They're round, gold and look like earrings....

Ooooops!

One year I gave my wife a canoe for her birthday, and then she gave it away.

Oh....you didn't mean like that, did you?

That's so cute.  My 3 year old likes to use the, "Mommy, we're not making you breakfast in bed today" approach.

My nephew at Christmas time, he was 3 at the time, grabbed his grandmother's gift which was all wrapped up and said here's your cookie jar. Merry Christmas. Actually the cookie jar is mostly his when he's over at the house.

OK, this is frustrating. How an I supposed to get a pic that is less than 100kb? I set my camera to the lowest possible quality setting, and they're still coming out at about 600kb.

You can shrink the resolution on a computer program such as Photo Shop -- some sort of program like that should have came with your camera.
