Member 49  Chesapeake, VA |  Subject: My daughter gave it awayIt looks like I'm getting a new bike for Father's Day. Today my 4 year old daughter was riding her bike and wanted to race. She said "Daddy, why don't you get out your old bike.... I mean, your bike, and race me?" I'll try to act surprised. I'm sure it won't be too fancy since our budget is tight, but it has to be better than the 20+ year old piece of crap I bought for $60 two years ago. |

She was bubbling over when she got home and I didn't want to ruin the surprise. It went something like this... "Mommy! Mommy! We got you Christmas Present!!!" "Wow! Is it a surprise?" "NO! It's EARRINGS!!!" Hope I never forget that one! Congrats! |
