Subject: RE: Need to Vent..I was sick two weeks ago... took a whole week to get over the cold. Then another week to start feeling better-enough to train. Yesterday's race seems to have sucked the life out of me and today I find myself wanting to take yet another nap. I think I'll skip swimming tonight and just veg for a while. I'm sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. I think it's time to get back on my regimen of Emergen-C packets and lots of water. And, I read recently (will have to find the article) that endurance athletes actually tend to get sicker, longer, than others. Especially after a hard race. |
