Subject: Christmas in November!!!
So I went and saw my boss today. I told her I was quitting. She was a bit shocked, and wanted me to reconsider. After quite a lengthy discussion, she agreed to give me Friday as my last day in teh office, and pay me through December. I left the meeting feeling like a million bucks! But wait, it gets better. Just a half hour ago, boss walks into my office and says, 'By the way, I talked to the business manager, and I got unemployment for you sarting Jan 1'. WOW!! Does it get any better? I'm not planning on taking the whole winter off, but it sure does take the pressure off me to find a job right away! I am so psyched!!!!!!

haha, I love that you are getting congratulations on your soon to be unemployed status. Best of luck on your new job hunt. I can only imagine the fun I'd have with a month off. I can dream.

I'm jealous.

It would be fun for about 3 days...then the boredom hits. So, you get back to training to use the hours in the day, but then thats still not enough...yes, we can dream, but we need things to keep us busy. (realize I'm only saying this because I'm jealous too)

Actually, when my boss came in and told me I get UE, (which is rare for someone who resigns) I thought, one of two things: either they really like me and want to help me out, or I am totally missing something here, and they are greasing me so I keep my mouth shut. About what I'm not sure, But I'll take it any way I can get it. (insert pun here)

p.s. With a 4 yr old, 2 yr old, and 9 month old, there will be no getting bored for me.
