Subject: Total climbing on a route

I first tried entering this route last night, and the elevation was really funky.  This morning it seems more reasonable but I still think it's too high..... or is it?

BT says 3107 ft, mapmyride.com gives me around 1550 ft... I'm confused.

I just updated the code that gets elevation values from the USGS database (much faster now, it's downright zippy) and tested it with your route. The numbers came back about the same. Could be the use of different data sources for the raw elevation values.
