Subject: import gpx bug
Hi, I recently imported a gpx files into a bike route, that I saved from veloroutes.org. The elevation on the BT created route is way off. Any idea why?

Here is the route I created by uploading the gpx file...
http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/map.asp?route...
shows 6800 feet of climbing

I also imported the same gpx file into my bikely account
http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Over-the-Mountain
shows 1800 feet of climbing.

Here is the original veloroutes route, from which I made the gpx file, via their export process:
http://veloroutes.org/bikemaps/?route=10926
shows 2100 feet of climbing.

I will attach the gpx file to this post.

I tested this also with another route, and it seems way off too.
http://veloroutes.org/bikemaps/?route=29097 6800 feet of climbing
imported to
http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/map.asp?route...
which shows 17000 feet of climbing

What happens when you use the Reset Elevation button?

We're not going to be debugging much with the Route Tracker because as I just wrote in another thread, it's going to be rewritten from scratch in the near future.
