Redman bike course - roads

Hi local Oklahomians (?)!

I did Redman Half last year and really noticed the chipseal section on Waterloo Rd. - not to mention all of the potholes and gaps in the road that had to be spray painted as hazards. I felt like I was either constantly dodging holes in the road, or I was on that chipseal section and thought my bike was going to vibrate apart!

Have any of the roads been re-surfaced or fixed up in the past year?

I'm debating signing up since the unused championship slots opened up yesterday, but was curious about the ONLY negative thing I had to say about this race... those roads.
