Subject: Help me find info on cars/trucks

I'm looking to buy an older truck but am looking for web sites to research engine reliability for a specific year/model.

For instance, right now I'm looking at a 1995 GMC Sonoma 2.2 ltr 4 cyl.  How can I trace engine history on this type? - Thanks

It's like a big throbbing brain full of automotive expertise.

I like epinions.com and edmunds.com for car research too.  But defer to whatever the crowd at grm says.  They are super smart.
