100 light kick.
400 to get the blood flowing through your muscles... try 4x100 descending your speed #1-4
200 drills practicing areas you want to be good at
4x50: odds are fast 10m in and out of the turn, evens have a fast finish (you'll remember what it's like to go fast ).
100 easy to feel good.
If you're not that seasoned of a swimmer, cut the warm up to about 1000m by lowering each component.
The seasoned swimmers are trained to do personal bests when they're slightly fatigued (i.e. the second race of the event ). If you're not well trained (like I am now ), don't go too hard before your race. |
