This is what my training plan says for a run activity:
"Run Base
Endurance
20
Run on a flat course or treadmill. Keep HR in Zone 1-2. Think about form and running pretty. Stretch when done and add in Core 1, 2 or 3. "

HR Zone 1-2?? How is that even possible while running? I run as slow as i possibly can and im still in zone 3-4. Am i missing something? I have my zone calculated automatically by my 920xt and i think they are quite accurate.

While running, I've been really struggling to keep my heart rate down in the zone 2-3 range as frequently prescribed in the plan. This seems too slow?

Training our bodies to work efficiently in Zone 2 will help us keep our HR and pace even throughout an Ironman. This theory would hold true for the bike and run portion of an Ironman race.

My doctor says 140bpm HR is my max, but that feels like a walk in the park... I don't know what to do, how to train, and my motivation is waning. Any suggestions?
