Extreme Veteran 401 Texas | Subject: RE: This looks scary.. I did study abroad one summer in Italy and we spent two weeks in Sienna, which is a small mideval town. Tons of people would walk down the main throughfare cobble streets where most of the shopping was. One of my favorite pass times was running across that city through the crowded streets dodging people and trying to remember who to say Scusi or Scusa to. It made my daily runs into a game, but I don't think I'd try that with cars....on my bike...going through red lights...without a helmet. |

Expert 822 | Subject: RE: This looks scary.. That's great! Riding in traffic is so much fun, especially when you're passing cars. I've ridden in a couple Critical Masses in SF and they were a blast. But I don't know about going through red lights, and all that pedestrian traffic would be tough to negotiate. Other than that, looks like a great time. Mike |
