Explain to me how they are censoring him?

He has his own 'popular' talk show.  I listen to him on the way home to get the right's spin on things.  What I got from that article is that they actually want him to keep talking. 

What's perhaps more telling, and more freightening, is that there is an attempt to paint Rush as the face of the Republican party.  Another effort by a political party to avoid addressing real issues, and/or attacking their opponents on real issues and how they vote; but rather use a shuck and jive shell game to create an alternate reality.  In this case, make Rush the bad guy, then paint him as speaking for Republicans, and then link Republicans to Rush who you've established as a bad guy.  You then create the perception that those linked, either in reality or by fiction, to Rush are likewise bad.

Both parties engage in this, and it's dispicable.  It avoids the real issues, it avoids reality, and it panders to the lowest common denominator.  But, in the end, the individual voters are to blame for falling for this type of "hollywood" spin doctoring. An uninformed, apathetic elecotrate, that is concerned only with the juicey 7 second sound bite, instead of researching issues and finding the truth.  Let the political machines, media and spin doctors tell us what the truth is....

Ridiculing Senator Edward Kennedy (D-MA) for advocating that Congress raise the federal minimum wage, Rush Limbaugh falsely claimed that minimum-wage earners are overwhelmingly teenagers who don't have to support families. From the April 29 Rush Limbaugh Show:

LIMBAUGH: There aren't families living on the minimum wage anyway; it's a teenage entry level job for 75% of the people earning minimum wage.

Several minutes later, Limbaugh said:

LIMBAUGH: The people that get the minimum wage are not the people Democrats portray them as being -- heads of households supporting families of four. It's not the case. Let's get real.

The truth is that only 32 percent of minimum wage earners are teens ages 16 - 19, according to the Economic Policy Institute's analysis of 2000 U.S. Census Bureau data.

LIMBAUGH: "Banks take the risks in issuing student loans and they are entitled to the profits." (Radio show, quoted in FRQ, Summer/93)

REALITY: Banks take no risks in issuing student loans, which are federally insured.

LIMBAUGH: "There's no such thing as an implied contract." (Radio show, quoted in FRQ, Spring/93)

REALITY: Every first-year law student knows there is.

LIMBAUGH: "It has not been proven that nicotine is addictive, the same with cigarettes causing emphysema [and other diseases]."

LIMBAUGH: "Those gas lines were a direct result of the foreign oil powers playing tough with us because they didn't fear Jimmy Carter." (Told You So, p. 112)

REALITY: The first--and most serious--gas lines occurred in late 1973/early 1974, during the administration of Limbaugh hero Richard Nixon.

This is perhaps the most true and sad thing of all.

 That qualifies as a knuckleheaded opinion he has stated on more than one occasion. Such statements will discredit him as a credible source of information. They can certainly link him to those statements and the focus is is going to be an attempt to saddle such statements to the Republican party. Sad part is he spends a considerable amount of time jamming the current Republican party too.

Go to factcheck.org, enter "limbaugh" in the search field and you can read for days.

Difference is, we're not making any of those yahoos the leader of our party.

Nope, no liberal talk radio.....they just get every other form of media.

Umm, neither are Republicans.... the Democrats are trying to make him look like the Republican leader....but lets not get too hung up on the facts...
