Last night show was as great as Sunday, but it was still good.  They have to build the story at some point.
Who knew the RUDY was working at CTU and he is a big wig, it was all that studying that he did to get into Notre Dame.

One thing that i forget to mention yesterday how about Chloe, being a little dirty girl sleeping with her co-worker, YOU go Chloe.

Flank 2, i repeat Flank 2

FLANK 2.

It was so good! I think its great that Rudy figured out the code but I wonder if he is still one not to be trusted...or is it the guy that Chloe is sleeping with?

I think that guy Spencer is too obvious of a choice.  That makes it way too easy.  I mean think of season one, when you didn't know until the very last episode where all the intel came from.  Now it just sucks that we have to wait until next Monday.  4 hours in two nights was such a teaser.

Yes, you're right. Maybe its Kim! Maybe Kim leaked to the President that Jack was alive. There is no way he would have let her think he was dead, I bet he contacted her to let her know he was ok. Then I bet Palmer contacted Kim to see how she was doing and Kim spilled the beans.

I hate that its once a week now. When I bought seasons 1-3, it was nice to just shut in and watch hour after hour after hour after hour all day.

Oh. Duh.

Anyway, I bet this season will still tie into his mission in Serbia or wherever that was when he lost his team. Each season talks about it in some way.

Well, now that I also have a trainer, maybe I will go back and watch the first 3 seasons again just to keep myself occupied between mondays

I call BS. Curtis was active at the same time Jack was, and even if they changed procedure in the last 18 months, Curtis would have still picked up on the flank 2. Especially with the attention Jack was giving to it. Heck, I thought the terrorist was going to figure it out. I don't like Rudy - he's a smug little bureaucrat and it seems he still has something up his sleeve.

Now I'm hoping that somehow the First Lady's assistant (Evelyn?) was either able to make a copy of the transcript or will get the transcript security guy to prove that the recording was altered. She'll be one of the unsung heroes. Not of Edgar proportions, but still.

You need to join netflix or find someone and start with season 1. So much to see and catch up on and you'll realize you never know what is going to happen or who anyone is working for!

I agree with himself.  I thought last night was totally intense and I loved it up until the flank 2 thing.  I think they should have had Rudy shouting that he figured it out and to stop the attempt but too late and they go ahead with it and it turns out that Curtis had it figured out all along.  That would have been way better.  Jack would have only used a code that he KNEW Curtis would pick up on since he had no one else to rely on.  The only reason they did it that way was to give the Samwise some legitimacy.

Jack still rules.

I have to disagree here.  Jack wasn't ever really "active" with CTU when Curtis was there.  So Curtis would not have known.  If he should have known, that will come up.  I like Curtis though, I hope he isn't a mole

Do you think the Flank 2 could have been when he was active in the government (like his secret missions) from many years ago and not just the last 18 months? I hope Curtis isn't a mole either.

Exactly, which is what Rudy said.  Back when Jack was active, Flank 2 was a distress call, but it has since changed.  Jack wouldn't know that, and Curtis wouldn't know that it used to be a call.

Didn't he work for CTU in last season? He and Curtis even ran a "mission" together when they went into the HQ of the defense contractor in the building that Paul owned. And he told Buchanan that he doesn't work for him any more - meaning he did last season. I have a more difficult time remembering the earlier seasons, but didn't Ryan (forget his last name) run CTU before Buchanan - when Jack was working with Chase and had to off Ryan? Of course, now I could be getting my history and seasons messed up.

Jack worked for the DOD last season, and helped out at CTU. I think Ryan worked for Divison. I think Tony ran CTU until he was shot.

I don't know as much of the recent history as you guys do, but Jack knew Curtis so why wouldn't he use a code that Curtis would know, since he would have no idea who else might be listening.  It just seems a little thin for our hero to bank everything on a hope that someone at CTU would figure it out.  He normally only relies on the resources that he's certain of.
