Subject: What's in your bathroom?

Ok- not that I had a ton of time this weekend to observe, but I noticed I have a lot of stuff in my bathroom.

For instance, I have 3 different types on toothpaste available for use on the counter, and not to mention the multiple bottles of bath and body works lotion/body spray.  I have 4 different types of body wash in the shower, 3 different shampoos, 2 different face washes, and 6 razors on the side of tub.  Not sure why I had 6 razors sitting there because only 2 of them were good.  I usually have 2 difference shaving creams but ran out of my favorite kind and haven't replaced it yet.

From the looks of my bathroom, you would think I had a roommate or 2.  Anyone else have this issue?  I think it says a lot about me- I like variety, hence why I like tri's?

No, I think it means you're high maintenance or messy.

I have 1 toothpaste (and a travel size I keep in my travel toiletries bag) on the shelf by my sink.

In the shower I have: 1 bottle of shampoo, one conditioner, 1 razor, 1 shaving cream, 1 antibacterial piercing surgical soap bottle, and 1 vanilla body wash bottle, and a bar of Lever 2000. Thats it.

However, my closet is another story. You remember the 18 black pants thread?

I too have 3 different kinds of shampoos. So you are not alone, Janelle. Here's what I have:
1. Swim shampoo - can't wait to try the industrial size Malibu 2000!
2. 2-in-in shampoo - in case I am in a hurry.
3. Clarifying shampoo - I heard that you are suppose to rotate shampoos to remove residues.

I'm neither.  I'm not high maintenance by any means, and I'm not messy.  The 3 tubes of toothpaste are strategically placed in my bathroom drinking glass (which I never use- it has assumed the role of being a toohtbrush/paste holder).  All the stuff in my shower has its own place.  I have an organizer that hangs from my shower with my stuff in it.  And then I have special places on the side of the tub for the stuff doesn't fit.  It's nice and tidy

I have about 6 issues of Triathlete Magazine sitting on the floor next to the toilet or on the side of the tub. Along with three different shampoos and conditioners in the shower. I have had to seriously think about the whole hair care thing this summer since I am washing it twice a day.

Hmm, I guess I will get into this.  Ok the essentials toothpaste, shaving cream, razor, toothbrush. Ok here is where it gets a little wierd.  In the shower: Another Mach III razor for my legs, my own loofa (sp)( I read the use of a loofa on some road bike forum so I use it), another can of shaving cream (again my legs) and this face cleanser. I have to use it since I sweat so much and I don't want to be a 46 yr old with pimples.  Then I also use this medicated powder for places best unmentioned. (Bike chafing, I am a newbie so I have tender areas.)

So yes I shave my legs and the only problem I have about it is I wish I had done it years ago. Damn they look good!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't remember the magazine, but a certain one used to have a feature called 'My Medicine Cabinet' which profiled celebrities' medicine cabinets, took pics of their cabinets. interesting and weird at the same time. I have a mag rack/toilet paper roll combo in mine. Love it! Keeps 'em off the floor.

oh runnergirl. especially since you are in disgusta you should know toothpaste isnt necessary. Deoderant does double duty...keeps my breath smelling like mountain air or sport!

I'm married so the short answer is WAY TOO MUCH STUFF!!!!   I cleaned out the drawer on my side and now it only has deoderant, nail clippers (grooming kit), tooth paste, dental floss, neosporin.   I dare not look into the wife's side, I may need a search and rescue team to come get me.

lol, so true.  Our new house has 2 bathrooms so I've taken one and my wife has the other.  Mine has toothpaste, toothbrush, old spice bodywash, deoderant, razor, shaving cream and aftershave.  That's it.  Done.

Hers has bottles overflowing from every nook and cranny; coming out of the medicine cabinets, under/on/on top of the shelving unit, in the shower, on the window ledge in the shower, in the basket hanging from the shower head.  It's crazy, I fear for my life when I go in there.
