My Dad told me his friend actually wrote a paper about marketing toilet paper in college.

Do you hang yours so it falls over the front of the roll or towards the wall?

I remember a whole long discussion on Ann Landers about this many moons ago.

I'm a bit of a germ-o-phobe.  So I like my TP hanging over the front of the roll.  I don't want it coming near the wall.  Even though I scrub the walls with lysol every Saturday.

That's how we know that we should buy it.  We no longer have any around.  When the last is gone, it's time to go buy more.  I firmly believe that the whole Just In Time inventory method that works oh so well for Wal-Mart can work for me, too.

It must be a guy thing.  I buy the big ol' pack from Costco and when I have about 10 rolls left, I freak out and go buy more.  Same with paper towels and paper napkins.  I don't want to run out of paper products.

Life is like a roll of TP...the closer you get to the end, the faster it goes!

Down the front, because it's easier to tear off.  I buy the recycled stuff from Trader Joe's, but I think Eric prefers Cottonelle, because that's what he buys.

I was just joking about the single male thing.  There's a joke in my family about one of my cousins who, when he first moved out on his own, actually called his mother from the toilet to tell her he was out of TP, and asked if she'd bring some over.

Uhh...

I was about to select the "What do you want for Valentine's Day" thread and clicked on this thread instead...and roll of TP came up!  Hope that was not an omen of what I'm getting for Valentine's Day.

I was at a guys house and they ran out of TP.   I asked them if they had some and they handed me a coffee filter.

An exploration camp running out of TP is a major deal.

I'm definitely of the "quality" vs. "quantity" type.  Luckily, I can get both at costco.  They usually have the charmin ultra in mass quantities.

Caution:  If you ever try Charmine Plus you will be spoiled for life and everything else will feel like 60 grit sandpaper!

Roll off the front, Roll off the back.  Doesn’t matter.  My only requirement for TP is that is WITHIN REACH!!!

Not only did I recognize we were running low, and bought the TP before we ran out, without being asked, I used a coupon!

Sorry ladies, I am married...

My SO is very picky about this...it has to be a high quality...I like the charmin or cottonelle, but in an emergency, any will do...we have run out...but that was due to lack of funds and not thought.
