I feel lazy today. I thought I would go swim but I feel the need for a good nap. I did take the dog for a good walk.

3 miles on the elliptical (30 minutes) and lower body weights and stretching. I'm a little tired today, but if I motivate, I'll go back to the gym after work for upper body weights and hot tub,
Kim

Well, today was a slap in the face! I will never run on a treadmill again! I went running outside with my SGT today after work and I sucked ass! We ran for 20 min at a good steady pace and I hurt! I am good for 40 plus minutes on a treadmill! It was cold outside though, and felt totally different. So from now on I will brave the cold and the snow and just run outside so I don’t give my self a false sense of security. But. All that negative crap said, it was a good run and had a good time. lol. ;-)

Rest Day, but I've already moved a lot of snow today.

I did my driveway and sidewalks, and the old lady's next door, and the entrance and sidewalks here at work. WOW, I never knew rest was so tiring.

Hello all. Biked 30 minutes, ~8 3/4 miles, ran 30 minutes, ~3.2 miles this a.m. with winds, 78 degrees and 90% humidity. Noon swim 1350 yds with pouring rain the the wind actually howling by that time. Luckily no thunder.

Couldn't face a swim at 5.30am after a bad night with no 1 son last night.

Did make 1hr 6min run tonight after work and felt amazing even though it's my longest run for 2 years! I ran faster than last week (still low intensity though) and 10 bpm lower HR. I must be getting fitter......This steady 10% increase a week stuff must be paying off.

26 minutes walk/run (1 minute walk/3minute run) on treadmill (plus 5 min WU & 5 minCD)
Strength training -- Chest and Triceps
32 minute walk at work.

Ellen -- sorry about that storm heading your way. Tuck in and enjoy it if you can. I know how "interesting" and actually beautiful some storms can be on the Cape.

It's snowing (still). Ran 3.5 miles on treadmill and did upper and lower extremity weights. Got home to no power (arrgh). Thankful for woodstove and was able to cook some dinner. Power came back on at 9:15.... I think there is a squirrel running on a treadmill at the hydro plant, as we lose power often (when the squirrel falls off)

HOOODY HOOOOOOOOO!
Damn, I love the feeling after a great run!
Went to the track with my friend and ran for 34.30 min...for 3 miles which means I'm down to a streamlined 11.30 minute mile!!! hahahaha (okay, we're starting small here, folks)
Sigh. One of thsoe days, tho, where I couldn't wait to get out there.....
tomorrow I'm introducing strength training into the schedule....
