I am in for the mini-mini-marathon -- the 5K.

I just ran the course tonight to see what it has in store. All the hills are in the 1st mile, which should make it interesting.

(Edit: Oh shoot, that was my 1,000th post. Red star for me!)

Skoov, be waiting at the finish with a beer for me, 'k bro?

I'm in for the half - my first and it's going to be painful.......  especially since I can't run that far......  Please save me a beer or two, I'm going to need them!

What's up everyone.  I'm in for the 1/2 too!  Wavedog, lets hook up and say hi again before the race.  By the way, you smoked me at Pleasant Prairie if I remember right.  You're going to hit the Sub-2hour mark easily.

In my dreams I'd like to shoot for near 1.5hour time but damn Tri Training has slowed my race pace down a bit.  I know there will be pacers out there.  I hope everyone has a good race!

Yep- my hubcap will be out there too, and finished long before I am halfway to the end.  Maybe I should just grab on....

PJ - the half marathon is sold out, but the 5k still has room as of today.  They do need lots of volunteers though and it would be great to see you!

Alright, should we try for a pre-race meeting spot? I'll be showing up with a couple non-donk friends, but I think we are in different wave starts. I seeded myself at 2 hours, and I think they are a bit further back.

Any ideas?

I thought you were planning to run half a marathon in Geneva that weekend? I'll still go with you if you go on Sunday. I'm scouting either the run or the bike course on that day.
