What do you guys and girls think we should do for a team name?

Everyone else has a really catchy name and we can't come out of the gate behind these other teams.

Who's got a suggestion?

I was going to toss in "jellyfish" as my thought.

Agreed. We need a name.

For some reason, I keep thinking "crabcakes", but I'm not sure that's a great team name.

How 'bout just "Crabs"?  Would lead to some awfully interesting sig lines when we win.

I'll add my vote for Crabs, do have a captain, official or otherwise?

My ears were burning... Did somebody call?

As fond as I am of crabs, if you want it to be illiterative maybe the MidAtlantic Makos.  But , you still can't go wrong with beautiful swimmers.

I move that the team motto become:  "You couldn't even swim good enough to catch Crabs!"

C'mon, you know it's funny...

OK, that really is funny. I like it.

Any volunteers for captain? I would be willing to co-captain, if anyone wants to help me out. We also need to put down the distances we're going to swim for the month.

Sue,

I'll sew the 'A' on my jersey if you need some help.

My goal for December will be 24,000 yds.

Thanks Shaun! I'm in for a very low 5,000 yds. I haven't been to the pool since June, so who knows if I can still swim.

With holidays, hunting, and the pool closing, I've only got 5 swim days in December.  I'm going to set the bar at 12,000 yds.  If I'm short by Christmas, it will force me to head to the Y!

Hi Team,

I haven't been around BT much lately but decided this was a good way to get back.  I haven't selected a goal yet.  I swim for time, not for distance so I need to do some calculating.  Will post when I figure it out.

Cheers,

Mal

Ok well, this isn't a lot but I am only planning on doing 2 x 30 min swims/week.  I can swim between 50 and 60 x 25 yds during that time so I will set a target of 12,000 yds.

Let's go Crabs
