Who do you suppose will have the best coverage?  I will probably surf between the major players but end up with the network with the fanciest graphics (unless the network seems obscenely biased).

I'm not looking for spin, just who will share the results the best.

I'm going to look to a variety of sources across the spectrum of bias and assume the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

I would like to know this as well. I currently surf between CNN/NBC/ABC/FOX for my national information and between three local sources for my state wide results.

Anyone have any luck with the national papers having good free coverage? the New York Times? Washington Post? USA Today?

Well, this may be more "obscenely biased" than you prefer, but just for visual drama, MSNBC has a tres fancy "Democracy Plaza" set up at 30 Rock.

Yes, that's a map of the U.S. on the skating rink which will presumably be filled in, in blue and red, as the evening wears on. Also, the two striped banners on the building  behind the rink will show the electoral vote for Obama and Romney.

I am a true politics junkie, so maybe I'm an outlier here, but I got chills walking around there earlier.

Also, they keep piping in the elections coverage music. That helps.

I usually watch Fox News and I'll have MSNBC up on my laptop to watch realtime results coming in.  They usually have the best online system for watching.  I figure all the media is biased and Fox has Megyn Kelly (mmmm) so that's why I choose Fox.

Not sure of election night coverage, but I watched both conventions and all four debates on CSPAN.

I respect that kind of honesty!  I am not a fan of commercials...so, it's PBS for me.  Gwen Ifell is excellent.  (besides, if Mitt wins, I want to enjoy PBS for one last election )

A friend sent me a link, its a google map which is comparing ALL sources of data and updates automatically. Worth keeping open during the night.

Furthermore, I propose a drinking game, for every electoral vote that 'your' candidate wins, take a sip of beer, for every battleground state your candidate wins, finish your current beer, for every battleground state that the other guy wins, take a shot of whisky. Sounds like fun!
