I voted 50 but my plan is really to just lose "as much as possible" w/o my endurance suffering.  My driver's lisence weight....well, that is between me and the DMV.  I'm just gonna do the best I can and whatever I end up, that's where I'll be.

I voted 20 but specifically my goal is 18.  Below are the details of my goal.  Unfortunately I gained lots of holiday pounds and I'm hoping that by posting my current fatness, yes that's a word I made up, this group will keep me motivated to shed the fat poundage.

Current
Total weight 188 pounds
14.8% bodyfat
28 pounds of fat
160 pounds of other, which I'll call lean body mass

Goal
Total weight 170 pounds
6% bodyfat
10 pounds of fat
160 pounds of lbm

Give you the details: I was at 215.5 a few weeks ago when I started trying hard to loose the poundage. I'm at about 210.5 now. I'm trying to get to 190. So, 25.5 total lbs.

I've had my bike VO2, power and LT tested and my run VO2 and LT tested.  From the VO2 test I got break downs of what percentages of fat/carb that I burn at specific heart rates.  That along with RMR, I can calculate how many calories I will burn in a day.  Plan is to burn 1750 to 2625 more calories than I consume per week.  That should give me a loss of 1/2 to 3/4 of a pound per week.

But the most important thing about the VO2 max isn't the VO2 max its the percentage of fat/carb that I burn.  Weight loss is great, but my main goal is to flip flop the ratio of carbs/fat for at least 145 and hopefully 155.

I'm going to train for an IM....that should take care of some of the excess baggage.  I'm also using Livestrong.com and trying to stay about 2,000 calories/day....which is not much for a full-figured gal like me.
