Expert 1099 Orlando, FL | Subject: Good In-10-tions - Bringing it Home Wk4 Hey gang! Here we are into week 4 - sure has gone fast! We've had some great training weeks, and a few races in the mix. Now it's time for our final sprint to the finish! We're looking right on target with a few folks at, over, or almost to 100%! Way to go!!!! I'll post our stats in a bit when I can get them into shape, but for now, our team average is 75.26%! If you throw out those numbers over 100% (which is how it will be done for the final I think) we are at 74.81% - which is pretty darn great! Now dig down deep and find something in there to finish strong! I know I'm going to work on squeezing in some running whenever I can - and try to wrap up bike and swim tomorrow... GOOD LUCK AND GO TEAM GOOD IN-10-TIONS!!! Annabanana |

Expert 1099 Orlando, FL | Subject: RE: Good In-10-tions - Bringing it Home Wk4 Well, gang - as of Monday we shared third place with two other teams. Team Thunderbird was in second place with 76%, and Team Guinness and the Lucky Lancers both had 74% as did we. I know for me that made me kick in and think about where I can squeeze in some extra time to make my goals. Remember, your workouts don't always have to be for 30-60-90 minutes or more. If you can squeeze in 15 minutes to hop on your bike and ride around the neighborhood, or run a bit after dinner, you'll feel better, your training will be moving forward, and better yet, you're working toward 100% goal.... Chris - your daily inspirations are such a help to me - and I haven't been taking time to do them, either. Let's take a look at which teammates of ours could use some encouragement, and let's visit them today.... WE CAN DO IT!!!! All it takes is effort and time, I know you all have the heart! GO GOOD IN10TIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Annabanana |

Member 46 Fort Collins | Subject: RE: Good In-10-tions - Bringing it Home Wk4 I officially made all my goals for this month. YES! It kinda bums me out that the last of the running had to be in the water. I'm gearing up for Friday, when I'm gonna go run on the track and see if it hurts or not. Of course, if it does, it'll be another week of aqua-running for me. Still have to train this week. Is there going to be another one of these next month? A team challenge or something like it? I like this team. |

Member 46 Fort Collins | Subject: RE: Good In-10-tions - Bringing it Home Wk4 Chris Tree - 2005-07-27 8:06 AM Hey Jodilynn, Well done on your goals, could you do some running for me?? I really wish I could. Its surprising how much I wish being able to run. When I'm running, I'm counting down until the time when I've finished the run. But now that I haven't been able to for a week, I'm counting down to when I will try to run again. Doesn't help that I just got the new issue of Runner's World magazine today. Expert 1099 Orlando, FL | Subject: RE: Good In-10-tions - Bringing it Home Wk4 Hey everyone! I am sorry to report that I decided to do yoga class today instead of more running - but I still have tonight and Sat and Sun to get those last 80 minutes in....provided I can get online at our Inn to report. Splerph - thanks so much for accumulating our final totals. I will send you our spreadsheet, but it is really overkill - what Renee wants is the list of names and totals for swim/bike/run. She's got all the goals in her own spreadsheet, and she does all the percentages. So your report to her is an email that looks like this: Annabananamc 120/240/800 Splerph xxx/xxx/xxx etc... The hardest thing is rounding up all the totals, but you can go to each person's log if they don't report to you. Renee needs them on Monday, so if we all send Splerph (Melanie) our totals through Sunday, when we are finished but by Monday morning at the latest, then she can email them to Renee on Tuesday her time/Monday Renee's time. Renee knows about the time shift, and Melanie reporting, so she's cool with that. But you guys, if you can PLEASE try to get your report posted or PM'ed or at leasted logged by Sunday night, then when Melanie is online (which is overnight for us USA folks usually, early Monday for Chris I think) then we'll actually be reporting ontime. The challenge includes all workouts through and including Sunday, where ever you are! Oh yeah, one other thing, please try to report your totals in the same units of measure as your goals were posted. I'll be leaving town in about 15 hours more or less but will try to check in while I'm away. If all else fails, I'll be back on Wednesday evening next week! Does that all make sense??? Now time for me to get running......or something.... hugs and GO TEAM TEN!!!!! Annabanana |

Member 46 Fort Collins | Subject: RE: Good In-10-tions - Bringing it Home Wk4 I'm in for the August challenge. Its the same as the July challenge, but you guys can add core/strength training if you want. This team rocks and I hope you guys can all do it next month too. I made my goals and most everyone looks pretty close on theirs. Let's bring this thing home, you guys! Go team 10! |

Expert 1099 Orlando, FL | Subject: RE: Good In-10-tions - Bringing it Home Wk4 Yahoooo!!! I have some internet connection at the beach place. And I did a long run yesterday before we left, and a short one this morning at the beach and met my running goal, too. So that puts me over 100% for all three....I really didn't think I'd make it! Splerph, if you can still do the totals tomorrow some time that would be super, butif not I can probably pull it together here. Let me know on the thread or PM. Not sure I can get to my email from here. So how's everyone doing? We've got about 12 more hours, give or take depending on where you are, to get our goals for the challenge! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!! I'm still thinking about August - honestly if I commit I will do everything I can to make my goals, like this month, but I'm kinda feeling like I'd like a month off from that pressure....let me think about it, ok? Hpow about the rest of you? Sorry for the tyupos, this keyboard stinks and the computer isn't a lot bette,r, but it's free and online now so who's to complain! Hugs to all you tens.....GO GET 'EM!!! Veteran 1108 Perth, Oz | Subject: RE: Good In-10-tions - Bringing it Home Wk4 All righty Pinch and a Punch for the first of the month (is that an aussie thing?) Its monday here and I am well passed my targets for the month! I'm so impressed with this team you guys are the greatest! I've got my totals (obviously) and Ernie's so when you guys are back online pass them all on to me. I think I'll do the August challenge too but I'm going to reduce the swim totals the swim was a bit too challenging for me this month I've got to focus on running for the City to surf at the end of the month. |

Extreme Veteran 341 Niagara Falls, Ont | Subject: RE: Good In-10-tions - Bringing it Home Wk4 Hey y'all! Here are my totals for the month. S - 11.75k (goal of 11.5k) B - 561.03k (goal of 460k) R - 142.4k (goal of 140k) So I guess I made it! Thanks to everyone for all of the inspires (and the peer pressure ) to get 'er dun! This was actually kinda fun. I'm not sure about Aug yet, I really need to sit down and think about it, as I have two races next month, and the shoulder still isn't 100%. I'll be in touch. LET'S SEE THOSE TOTALS! |

Expert 1099 Orlando, FL | Subject: RE: Good In-10-tions - Bringing it Home Wk4 OK ok ok ok.....thanks to a bit of inspiration from my mom (Oh I remember you doing those kind of challenges, you always do well with that format) I am going to sign up for August. But I am going to be a bit more realistic in my goals because August just has a lot of crazy things going on.... Swim 120 minutes Bike 240 minutes Run 400 minutes I don't know what I was thinking on the July run goal - just like doing marathon training but throwing in some bike and swim or something....CRAZY....this one will be more of a maintenance plan.... SO WHO"S STILL WITH US FOR AUGUST?????? Come on, if you have a crazy month like me, just set your goals appropriately. I mean, it's not like you won't work out at all huh????? Take care, time to shower off the sand.... AB |
