I have a lot of turkey wraps. I have put some odd foods in them. I will often put dried cranberries and peanut butter in them. Sometimes ground chipolte pepper and pecans or almonds. Rubard jelly as a base with Onion Ranch dressing. Or talk about odd food how about Bacos being just plain odd. Once in a while I'll collect dandilion greens while on a run give half to the ginuea pig half to the wrap. Yes I wash them. Well lets see where this thread goes.

PS sandwiches are fair game too. Who likes grilled peanut butter and jelly?

You guys are wierdos.

I do like to George formanize a pb&j, though.

I also will take leftovers like risotto or oriental noodles and put them in a seaweed wrap with some red chili sauce. Yummmm! Good bike food...just put a sheet of saran wrap down on the bamboo roller, put the seaweed down, put some yummy leftovers in, roll it up, and put the saran wrapped roll in your bike jersey.

Dude, I never thought about George Formanizing PB&J's. That's a great idea! I have a newfound sandwich maker. As for the wraps, I'm a traditionalist. I like doing chef salad wraps or grilled chicken salad wraps.

I forgot to mention, I love making peanut butter and banana sandwiches as well. That's not really out there at all, but it's my indulgence.

I have one of those sandwich makers that cuts, toasts, and seals a sandwich. One of my favs is chili and cheese with Tabasco. I also like beef stew on sourdough. Scrambled egg, bacon and cheese is really good in the morning.

Toasted PB and J is hard to beat!

The key in the peanut butter and banana sandwiches is grilled on the forman instead of fried and you need to put honey on it.

this leads me to a wrap question. i try the standard old el paso tortilla's. they are always too stiff and brittle to actually roll into a wrap. Am i missing out on wrap making secret??

The wrap dude. I use The Tortilla Factory Whole wheat Tortilla. 80 calories and 13 grams of fiber in a 10" size. Never break even cold. You can get them at the deli section or off then web

To help avoid breaking or ripping use them at room temperature or heat them over stove or in microwave. I sometimes charr mine on the gas burner of the stove. Not to say I haven't set off the smoke alarm.

Like that Foremanizing the PB&Js

Not really a sandwich, more like toast. I put condensed milk and butter on toasted bread. Or jam and butter, or condensed milk and PB. They are popular treats where I came from. Just ask Celeb_ithil.

I enjoy stir fried veggie wraps with a little salsa. Sometimes I add meat or eggs.
They can include:

colliflower, brocoli, snow peas, carrots, onions, peppers(hot/sweet/mild), eggs, ham, chicken, turkey, steak, pork, almonds, cashews, cucumbers, tomatos, lettuce, celery, water chestnuts, tuna, salmon, perch, walleye, potatoes, premade chili/stew/spagetti, corn, many different beans, pineapple, apples, bannanas, and many different spices.

or (almost) any combination of the above.

Sometimes wraps are intended as a meal, other times I just take whatever is left over, wrap it, and it is good to go.

Hey you "put me on the table"!

Yeah... sometimes we do pancakes with condense milk/peanut butter and fold it in half.  PBJ, or PBB with a cup of half and half coffee/black tea mix is the perfect afternoon snack!

My kids love grilled pbj.  I think the weirdest thing I do is put salt and pepper on my cantaloupe.  My grandma always did it and I like it.

My grandpa did that too! I love salt and pepper on cantaloupe!

PB on toast with skim milk is very often the only thing I can eat after a long run.

I like to put alfalfa sprouts in my wraps, with spinach, avacado, tomato, purple onions, mmm... what else? feta and black olives and top it off with a nice oil dressing. I like getting the tomato and basil wraps or the spinach ones. Publix has some great selections and Whole Foods has even more. Loooove Whole Foods.. I'm hungry, dammit!
