ok, decided at 10pm last night, right after doing a 4 mile run that turned into 11...that I would do this race! I did it two years ago and loved it. (Im thinking the course may be different than then?). I see a few of us are doing it! Will be good to see you all there. (yeah, YOU too Pete, haven't seen you forever!)

Its going to be a bit chilly at the start!

I'll be there. Pam, the course is different than two years ago (I have done both) I think you will enjoy this course too.

I will be there as well and my wife will be running too.  However I have a problem that hopefully someone can help me with.

We were going to be meeting someone there that was going to watch our kids when we ran.  Now they can not make it.  Is anyone going to be there that is having an adult or older teenager come along and not run that can keep an eye on three kids?  Our oldest is 10 so he can watch the other two (7 & 5 yeard old) but I would like it if a responsible adult (or close to adult) could be there just in case.

Can anyone help me out??

Sorry I can't help you now but this just brings me to the point that I can't wait til Ryan is old enough to watch everyone's kids.  We REALLY have to set up a Donkey Corral for the donklettes.

I can hardly wait for Saturday! I love this race and the course is beautiful. I don't think that my wife and kids are coming.

As always, I am shooting for 1:59.59...I have yet to break 2:00 in a 1/2 marathon.

BTW, thanks Pam, I am looking forward to seeing you too. It has been a while.

No, my only Donkey gear is a tri-top that is still a bit snug. Odds are that I will be the tallest person there (unless TriDDS shows up)...not sure what I'll be wearing. Probably blue shorts, white Under Armour shirt and white UA visor.

Can't help with this race as we will be out of town but for future races I do have 2 girls that have completed the red cross babysitters course. I'm sure they would love to set up a donkey corral! This could also work for group trainings!

Great seeing you all!! Met Kevin, and his wife (who placed!) and Lisa(4th overall female/1st age!) for the first time, plus some of the usual suspects...Jim, Ben, Pete (tall tri dad pete), Ross (hope I did not miss anyone!) There was a whole of purrrinnnggg going on!! (yep, PR's all around, on a GPS accurate course!!) Also saw a couple of girls I worked with on main campus; the pastor from our church (I found him on the results, but somehow never did find him!).

We had incredible weather, great course, great friends!!
