Subject: Weight loss AFTER race...

Not a concern as of yet, but I want to start thinking about it.

Seems like the weight loss (or BF loss to be more precise) is going well!  However, I have been training 10-13 hours a week (but I eat quite a bit).

Fear:  Swelling up after the IM and the training hours are not there any more.  Is it as simple as calorie reduction?

I would think that would be the best first step.  Since your body won't need all that fuel, there is no need to supply it.

I would watch your calories and not go by hungry. Your body is used to eating more calories and it will thing it will need it. I would count the cals and when you are done for the day you are done.
