I have 2 bikes. A road bike and a tri bike. Most of my long rides I'll do on my road bike and most of my short rides and trainer rides I do on my tri bike.

Last month I got a set of compact cranks for my tri bike and they are 172.5. My road bike has 170.

Do you think this is something I should be worried about? Having different "circles"?

Nope.  As long as you make adjustments to your position accordingly (i.e. seat position) you probably won't even notice much of a difference overall.

I run 175's on my road bike and 177.5's on my tri bike.  So I do it ......

I don't think so.  Not enough difference to matter IMO.  I would bet there are more significant differences in overall position.

I think you are ok.
