Subject: Creating a Route Always Freezes up my PC

Anyone else have troubles creating a new Route?

I've tried about 6 times now, on different days, to create a running route, and it never fails to freeze up my Browser and/or PC to the point that I have to turn off the PC, not even CTRL-ALT-DEL will help.

And it never fails to do this when I have just ONE step left.... it's so frustrating ...

Are there some Browser settings or security levels or cookie settings or something I need to temporarily lower or disable in order to make the Route tool work better?

I sometime have trouble with it too.  No sooner get the route mapped in decently and it won't set when I hit save.  I re-do it and then find it's in twice anyway.  HUH?  Set one never "took"

I have that trouble on my older XP computer, but not on my Vista laptop. I'm guessing it's a computer memory problem. The routing tool uses JAVA which is a real memory hog. You might try it using a different browser. I am using Firefox, which also has memory hog problems! Maybe try safari or opera, which are free downloads.
