Subject: Acutal vs planned... swimming? what?

For most weeks my acutal vs planned is off.  I have these really small swims that don't show up on my planned cal or planned blog, but if I do a AVP calendar or week, they are all there.

The way AVP works, for instance the calendar, it takes the 'Actual' and subtracts for it the 'Planned' to get the value.

So for the Feb 11 swim, you actually did 27 minutes and 1312 yards.  For the plan it called for 30 minutes and 1400 yards.  That gives that small swim value of 3minutes and 87 yards that was not done.  In this case, negligible.

What you really want to focus on for AVP stuff is the 'week' totals in determining how close you followed the plan.  If you see your week or month AVP totals -20%+, you need to work more on following the plan.  Likewise with overtraining.

I'm not seeing any missing workouts. Can you provide an example?

One thing to keep in mind is that the values shown in the Actual vs. Planned Calendar and Week views aren't overall workouts. They're the difference between what was planned and was you logged.  So a value like  -31.50 Yd -06m  on Feb. 25 reflects the difference between the Planned workout of 2000 yards over 50 minutes  and the logged workout of 1968.50 yards over 44 minutes.
