Tell me this is normal....

I have a Specialized Allez and I've noticed a couple of the stem screws are starting to show rust. I've been pretty good about washing/rinsing my bike off weekly (or after rainy rides) and cleaning the bike every couple of months, but I'm not sure if that's even right now.

It's the screws that are holding my aero bars on that are showing rust on the tops. Is this normal?

Everything else still looks wonderful. What am I supposed to do now?

It's probably from sweat dripping in. Mine have been that way for a couple of years. Most likely, it's not a problem, yet. If you're worried about it, go to the LBS and have them replaced. Then, have them put some grease (don't know what kind they use, but the kind I had was blue-ish) on them to protect them a bit. It'll wash off eventually, but you can re-apply as needed.

Yes, it is fairly normal.  You can replace them with Ti or aluminum screws and they won't rust.
