  • 1h 42m 29s
  • 18 miles
  • 10.54 mile/hr
Comments:

stayed about the same for my age group.
What would you do differently?:

Do not put accelerade in the Camelbak. Felt really bloated coming into the run.
Transition 2
  • 03m
Comments:

had to put on jersey so race number would be visible.
What would you do differently?:

buy a race belt.
Run
  • 1h 00m 10s
  • 6.2 miles
  • 09m 42s  min/mile
Comments:

was able to keep cool but felt really bloated for about 2/3 of the run.
What would you do differently?:

Not put accelerade in my Camelbak.
Post race
Warm down:

None. I was wiped out. I pumped up my last mile to stay in front of Clay.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

conditioning. also going on vacation and eating like mad the week before. Bad idea.

Event comments:

Having to switch the swim and add a mile run in between the swim and the bike transition sucked.
