As a parent of 3 ankle-biting, rugrat, misfit, angels; I am frequently worry about how my kids are going to turn out.  My personal time (after the kids go to sleep, and lunch time) tends to be occupied by dorky stuff dealing with science and economics.  Anyway, I ran across this and thought it A) provided some useful benchmarks for parents on how your kids are going to turn out and B) gave some significant food for thought on the direction our country is headed during this political season.  The middle class is what has made America so strong and this new study shows the trends that lead to a middle class life.

Mix the above in with birthrates and class structure and it makes for a very interesting debate IMO.  Maybe that's for another day.

Lots to digest there but at first glance it looks rather interesting.  Will have to read more this weekend.
