I heard a rumor at a race today that there will be a full ironman brand race in Muskoka in 2015

Anyone know or hear anything?

They've been trying to get this together for at least a couple of years now - took a really strong crack at it when Penticton backed out of the IM brand and they were looking for a new Cdn Ironman. I believe Hunstville town council is partly on board (In principle I believe they have accepted the application from WTC) but need to see more cost and ROI as the Fed/Prov/Municiplality (not sure which) will need to sink some money into some of the roads. I think Rich or Rick (can't recall names) from TriMuskoka who posts here sometimes would have more details as he's been behind a lot of this effort in the past.
