Pro  4481    Reston |  Subject: cigarette butts everywherewhy do smokers find it perfectly acceptable to discard their cigarette butts anywhere, at anytime? I was sitting at a stoplight today (driving back with my turkey trot race packet no less) and in the car next to me, a girl finishes her cigarette, looks my direction, and then just tosses it out the window. I had some old clif bar wrappers on the floor of my car, and thought maybe I should just throw those out the window. What's the difference, right? |

What really gets my gizzard is how the cigarette is always in the hand hanging out the window. What, they don't want it inside their car, but it's okay to have it float over to mine? Another thing I've noticed. Being an avid cyclist I'm always noticing beer cans on the side of the road. Have you ever noticed how you only see crap beer cans, Bud Lite, Busch, Keyston Ice, Miller, that sort of swill. You NEVER see Guinness, Newcastle, Boddingtons or any other good beer cans lying on the ground. This just goes to show you that people that drink cheap beer not only have bad taste, but are pigs with low IQ's. They probably smoke too. |

Havn't you ever seen someone empty their entire ashtray onto the roadway, dumping 30 or 40 butts on the ground. wow, i wont defened all of them. not all do these foul things. what i love is how accptable it is to harass smokers. when i smoked to be in the unlight, uncovered smoking area, and had people complain about the smell, while they sat in the smoking area. its okay to harrass a smoker not okay to harass an overwieght person eating McD's or simular. why isnt it socially appectable to say "look at you you PIG, your killing yourself, and raising my medical insurance!" not all smokers have low IQ. and not all litter. just my view, its so easy to villanize them. |
