I never get my butt out of bed early enough to start the thread, but then again, I work until 1 AM the night before, so I'm using that as a flimsy excuse. It's off to the health club for the daily workout. It was a bit depressing to see the snow come again after several days of temps in the 40's. Thank goodness for indoor trainers! Have a good day everyone.

Biked 50 miles this morning.  Man, it was 53 degrees out when I started.  I'm too much of a sissy to handle those temps gracefully.  Arm warmers, leg warmers, ready for anything!  Still have a swim to do later.

Did a 2.2 mile run yesterday, could’ve made better time but the dog slowed me down. I guess I need to have 2 different runs, one for me and the other for the dog. Want to get in a bike ride in tonight and would love to start swimming. Just need to find a place that you don’t need a membership to a club.

Hello All! What a beautiful morning. RAN 10 WHOLE MINUTES TODAY W/O STOPPING!!!! I'm so excited. It was great. I finally found the groove factor. I just trotted along one foot in front of the other. No gasping for air just cruising! This is the first time I've ran in double-digits and I can't believe that just six weeks ago I couldn't run more than 30 sec. Wow! I could have ran more but I had to hop off and go to spinning class. Which lasted 1 hr. Then 800 m in the pool. 18:49 sec., only 11 min off the world record!!!! Woo Hoo! Ian Thorpe watch out! I'm gaining on you. Have a great day.Ovetta.

Had to do a 48min. swim according to my "20weeks couch to an Oly". I made it and did 2640 meters.
The Oly will be no problem and I am very happy.

Thanx for the motivation O!

I made the 5 mile run no problem, despite the fact it started to snow at mile 2.
Looking forward to the 2600 yd swim practice tonite.
