Ok FF experts, what say you? On face value it seems like a no brainer, but Jackson is still not in top form and Seattle is likely PO'd that they gave up so many rush yards last week. OTOH, Woodhead should have good success in the pass game against Denver, and SD will have to pass, a lot.

Not a flex position, not a PPR league, but I do get points for yards (running or receiving) and TD's

Woodhead. Jackson hasn't done anything this year to earn my trust. At least SD will need to move the ball and they'll probably look to Woodhead multiple times.

I'd go Woodhead as well.

What do you guys think about Stacy going forward? I don't know why but I feel really high on him, like he's a top 10 RB for the rest of the season.

Definitely leading towards Woodhead but will kick myself if Jackson finally gets it together this week.

I think Stacy is a good play, especially with Bradford out. They have always run the ball well.

Well I decided to sell high in one of my leagues. Terrence Williams/Stacy for Dez.

I'd probably go with Fred. Steelers D isn't that great any more and Sjax probably needs a week or so to get up to speed still I think. Although my Hawks' run D has been terrible the last 2 weeks. I'd still pick Fred proably.

You got Dez for Stacy and Williams? Dude, you got a steal.
I mean sure, Stacy's mom has got it goin' on, but at the end of the day he's a Rams running back. I'd be surprised if he continues with the gaudy #'s.

Easy answer. Woodhead.
Neither's an ideal RB1, but Woodhead's a solid RB2.
S Jax would need to show me 1 good week before I considered starting him.

Yeah, I'd make that trade. Now I have to Google his mom...

ETA- You totally got me

Honestly, I was a little hesitant. I think Stacy's the real deal. Look at the team's he's been running against, pretty stout competition. Plus with Clemons behind center, I think he's going to get 25 touches a game and that's just invaluable nowadays for a RB. I had tons of Rb's though so I unloaded for a nice WR.

Thats tough. Spiller is finally healthy and Marrone has said he will be more involved this week, taking carries from F. Jackson. Coinflip really.

Yeah, not an easy choice...but I'd roll with Fred over Steven. The Steelers just stink on D. Yes, the Seahawks gave up a lot on the ground last week, but I didn't like S-Jax on draft day, and I like him even less with Julio and Roddy still out.

Perfect timing on this deal as Dez had a down week last weekend. D.B. is a top 2 WR...and when Megatron's knee is hurtin' he misses weeks, D.B. keeps playing. Honestly, whether it's been his hand or ankle between last season's and this season's injuries, D.B. plays through the injuries and plays through them well!
btw, as the season progresses I see Rams opponents just putting 8 in the box and daring Kellen Clemens to beat them...which folks will see, Kellen can't.

Now they are saying Dez might have a bulging disc in his back. Here's hoping my trade isn't going to backfire on me.

Ha, "back"fire, no pun intended.
Seriously, you'll be fine. I've been on the Dez train through the fractured finger and the foot injury...he's as durable as they come and actually seems to play better when there's an injury.

Yeah, I'm not too worried. I just don't like seeing the day my trade goes through reports start popping up. I really went after Dez because I think his schedule is set up perfectly for my eventual crowning as champ. My team is way outfront and if I win this weekend I clinch a playoff spot so I've been trying to position my team to have a favorable schedule for weeks 14-16.

Ok, I got one for everyone. PPR league, for my RBs I have Marshawn Lynch, Mike James (TBB), Giovanni Bernard and Andre Ellington. (It's a keeper league, I won last year, this year I drafted a lot of keepers). I can play 3 of them, 2 at RB, one at flex. My WRs are Keenan Allen (SD), Golden Tate, Brian Hartline. I'll most like go Allen and Tate on that, but it's the RBs that I'm stuck on.

Agreed on the Wr play.
On the RB front, how do you sit James who had 28 carries last week, now playing against a terrible run D, at home, against a Miami team dealing with a media circus?
Lynch-James, automatic plays for me...
Bernard-Ellington may come down to Bernard's ribs. Tough call. Really, that's a coin flip for me. I slightly lean Ellington as the Ravens are tough against the run and as little faith I have in Green-Ellis, I've got less in Mendenhall.
good luck.

I feel like James is more hit or miss. He was a beast last week but TBB was ahead at the start, which never happens, so I'm worried that if they go down early he may never see the ball. On the other hand, both Ellington and Bernard are behind incapable RBs (at this time) in Mendenhall and BJGE who could take 5-10 carries away from my two guys. This year it's a tough call, next year I feel like Ellington and Bernard will be legit starters, and James will be behind Martin again.

That's the beauty of Fantasy Football...ANYTHING can happen. Sometimes ya set the lineup based on experts, sometimes on your gut feeling.
In this case, say what you will about Green-Ellis, but he carried the ball 21 times last week and has averaged just shy of 15 carries per game for Cincy. Bernard got banged up last game...and the Bengals are facing a VERY formidable rush defense at Baltimore, not in Cincy.
Mendenhall's averaging about 13 carries per game, and the Cards coach has said he wants Ellington getting 20 touches this week. The Cards are at home this week.
As for James in Tampa, the odds of a Dolphin rout of the Bucs in Tampa is not probable. The Dolphins are 1 point favorites. I'd be shocked if James didn't see 20 carries this week...and I'd be even more shocked if he didn't score against a bad Miami rush d.

As for keepers, I don't know how many can be kept out of that crew, but obviously James isn't in the keeper equation as Martin will be back 100% next season.
Lynch, Gio, and to a smaller extent, Ellington are all under keeper consideration.

OK, I had 3 guys go on Thursday and I had a good night (RG3, Garcon and Reed)

Standard scoring league. I need to pick a WR, RB, and Flex

WR:
Riley Cooper
Rueben Randle
Kendal Wright

RB:
Spiller
Fred Jackson
Ellington

Flex:
Any of the above
Antonio Gates

Currently I have gone with Spiller (hopefully finally healthy), Cooper (seems to be on the same page as Foles, and Gates (playing Denver, enough said). Anyone want to help me tinker and likely screw my week up?

Quality analysis. I'm thinking Ellington. They said they might run him out at WR to get him in on some more snaps. Sounds like they definitely want to get him in the game and get him the ball. Lynch, James and Ellington are what I'm leaning towards right now. I still have a few hours to make snap judgements though.

Flex I might go with Ellington over Gates, but I think you're fine with either one. You know SD is going to throw the ball so Gates should get plenty of chances. Ellington intrigues me right now.
