Great day for a fast race!  So much fun seeing everyone out there.  BT'ers sure make racing more fun!

34 minute PR for me.  Wowzers.  My cold was an absolute non issue and I think the fast group rides on the bike and two half mary's over the winter were the key to dropping time.  Oh, and weather that was so very close to perfect and a swim that may have been a touch short.  Anyway, I snuck under the 5 hour mark.  WOOT!

Nice work today everyone, racers and 'strappers alike!

Okay, okay - when you get to be my age with already terrible eyesight, and then since I don't have contacts and can't wear glasses before putting on the googles, and don't focus on all the info on the jersey other than seeing Tri Wi (and don't forget alzheimer's starts to creep in with dementia), then I need to start training my memory better and stop being so fixated on seeing Tri Wi.  I think it's my own personal Charles Benson.

You are too kind for helping out a fantastic cause, Peter.  I do mean that.

Because you pumped me up, I put the bray on my calf, too, but my EEEAAAWWW disappeared after taking off the wetsuit.  Even my number came off.  The marker didn't stay on the leg.

Terri, ask Clint if he saw me.  I yelled at him a bunch of times but I don't think he recognized me with RACC gear on.

Sure, sure, beat up on the guy who is just wantin' to see how the rest of the donks did and to spread around a bit of congrats and goodwill...oh wait, you're actually not a donk anymore - into the "ignore" pile you go........

The reasons for my absence are unimportant and irrelevant. However, even in my absence, I wanted to see how everyone did and for that, I get picked on. So away I go to sulk. So there, you meanie....

Oh, and BTW, congrats on a great race. Do wish I could have been there to see it all.
