Elite ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() So the music I usually listen to has grown a little stale. I have really enjoyed getting back into alternative music. Lot's of new artists to listen to. What "New Music/Artist" are you listening to? Genre does not matter. If you have heard some tunes and want to spread the wealth... have at it.
I'll start... Dead Sara. I am really liking their energy, and the vocals of Emily Armstrong are incredible. "Weatherman"... off the hook http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLGoeYOZ0Qs "Sorry for it all"... other end of the scale. |

It's like country metal. As soon as I heard it on the radio I had to go google the lyrics to see who it was. It's been on my playlist for some time now. |

Muse: Survival http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5it-gous_k great song and video Big Muse Fan, big Queen fan (which obviously was the inspiration for this song.) But even for me this song is just a little too derivative and over the top. Kind of made for the moment, nothing more. |

M83 is cool. I like your style. I am going to have to check into the others. I just heard Two Door Cinema at lunch and liked it. I'll be sure to check on Cage, AWOL and Wolf gang as soon as I am not supposed to be working |

Elite ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Something for Kate, the Temper Trap, Hilltop Hoods, Fleet Foxes, Busby Marou, Boy and Bear, Electric Guest, Gotye, Kimbra - I live in Australia and listen to Triple J - they play mainly homegrown music and it's new and I love it. Therer are some dreadful ones but mainly I get into it! I seem to be able to ride to anything on the trainer! |

Elite ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I'm going to be checking this stuff out when I'm off. There has been so much good stuff come out from the alternative/adult/indie scene the last couple of years. I mostly listen to hard rock, but that has gotten a little old. Seems like it is the same old double base machine gun drum line to a buch of screaming... not that there is anything wrong with that... the last hard rock band I was really excited about was mudvayne. But ya... Silver Sun Pickups, Cage the Elephant, Muse, Modest Mouse, Foster the People, OK GO, Kasabian, New Politics, Paper Tongues, Paramore, Red Light King, Death Cab, Cinema Club, Broken bells... just a lot of good stuff out there these days. |
