Who's in ? Started trng plan just recently....... hopefully will make it to the starting line.

What trng plan r u using ?

Becuz of chronic ankle injuries I'm probably going to use the Jeff Galloway plan..... less miles and walking as part of the training...... plan has +'s and minuses.

But hey, now I have an excuse for running a 5 hr marathon...... .... obviously just kidding.... I'll take a 5 hr mary.

5 hours would be fast for me.

I've been thinking about doing it. I would rather stick closer to home, but flat at the beach would be nice.

This was my first marathon in February of this year. You will enjoy it. Check out the FIRST (Furman Institute of Running and Scientific Training) running plan. I used it for Myrtle Beach and currently am using a variation for an IM distance race. Less miles, good cross training. Good luck. Its a fun race.

Funny you posted this... just talked to Eric (medic0020) a few hours ago and he happened to mention you did this race.

FIRST programs are great... but I hear you really have to push it on some of the workouts... not a bad thing..... glad you had a good experience.

Thanks !
