Subject: Catalina Tri?
Anyone else going over to Catalina for the tri? We're doing a relay as a family. My last one (unless I do the tinsel tri) for the year and my DH and son's first! Should be fun.

I really wish I could say "yes" on this one, as I LOVE Catalina and would love to do it just for the swim in Avalon, but I don't have the budget for an overnight stay and I just know I'd get queasy enough from the boat ride to make a tri attempt miserable if I tried to make the crossing the morning of the race.

I'm very jealous, but I wish you luck and hope your family has a blast!
