Performance Forte Contour saddle - anyone purchased recently?

I purchased this saddle for my road bike before I really knew anything, back in 1999 or 2000. This was before Performance Bike had brick-and-mortar stores.

I love that saddle. The saddle that came on my tri bike is really hard for me. I've given it a few weeks now, and I noticed in my race it was the one thing holding me back, because I couldn't stay aero for the whole duration due to saddle discomfort, and I had some bruising after.

I'd like to buy a new one, but I have noticed that all the Performance bike merchandise has downgraded in quality drastically ever since they started opening real stores. I am afraid to buy the saddle for that reason.

Forte is the Performance store brand, right? Or am I wrong on that?

Has anyone purchased this saddle recently? It looks different - has reflective stuff on the back and some kind of "perforated synthetic cover" I'm not sure about.
