Does anyone have a notion to find someplace to watch the TdF after TtP Mistletoe? I figure even if I leave right after the race, the earliest I'd be back in Atlanta would be around 11:30 and the stage would be over. The replays are ok but since Saturday is THE DAY for the Tour, live is preferable...

Just throwing it out there...

Augusta is about 45minutes away.  You could hit Broad Street up but I'm not sure if the sport bars will be open.

Oh, come on.  Research people, research.  There's got to be a redneck, biker bar somewhere in Appling, or Thompson, or Crawfordville.

I can just see it now, the proprietor's sister-in-law came in early to sweep out the PBR cans and cig butts and left the front door open.

Suddenly the parking lot fills with SUV's, a Mini, a Lexus, and a BMW.  A steady stream of wet haired, dri-fit Tshirt clad, triathletes emerge, stretch and file in.  "I said we ain't open" "Toward day what?!" "yeah, we got TV and satelite" "we got BEER, no wine, no margaritas, no Recoverite"

LOL -

You mean the Tour doesn't dominate EVERYONE"s life? I thought the world was united as one for three weeks every July...
