For the record, if IamthehammerMarmadaddy deems this too "commercial" of a post then I defer to his judgement.

I have a close friend who I don't get to see often who lives in the Twin cities area and he is the lead singer/songwriter for a band that plays a lot of gigs in the area. His name is Van and the band is 73 Paces. If anyone ever sees them playing at a bar somewhere just go up to the lead singer and tell him John Martin says hi. I think it would be funny if this happened to him a few times. I'm trying to keep this less commercial by not posting their website for their schedule, but it's out there if you want to check them out.

Perfectly appropriate for COJ. Only triathlon related commerce is subject to the Commercial Use Policy. Feel free to add the url to their web site.

It also helps that I'm a musician.

So while we're on the subject, any Rochester NY BT'ers can come see me play with Howlin' Joe and the Emancipators at The Landing in Fairport Village on Saturday February 19.
