I've seen this sort of thing, described below, before but really noticed it today and I didn't see a thread on it, on the front page anyway. It's easy enough to work around but annoying if it happens after each of several log edit updates.

Today is February 1. I was updating my log for this morning and catching up logging yesterday's workouts too. When I make a log edit for yesterday, January 31, and then click the Blog button on the upper end of the page, my blog takes me to January 1. It looks like the current day of the month is kept but the current month got reset to last month when I edited a day in that month. I imagine it should take me either to the day and month that I edited, or to the current day and month, but not a mix that puts me on a day 4 weeks ago. The edits were done between 9 and 10 am local time (mountain TZ), using Firefox 9.0.1 on a PC running Windows 7 Enterprise with service pack 1.

Thanks

Is this back to normal or still occurring?

Yes, this still happens.

Today is February 10 and I just tried it again. I expanded my blog view to 2 weeks so that I could scroll down to a date in January. From the blog view, I then clicked the 'training' link above the space for January 29th. That day had previously contained no entries. I added a short comment and clicked the 'blog' link at the upper end of the page. My blog view came up on January 10th, todays day of the month but the month of the entry I was editing.

Edit: I believe that this is "normal" ... not correct, but the way it has worked for a long time now. It's just easy to work around and hard to explain properly.

Edit2: After an edit, I'm clicking the 'blog' button in the list of buttons following some text that says "save, and return to:", not the blog button after the text that says "Jump to:".

Thanks for the clarification, I see exactly what is going on, and YES, it is a bug that has always been with us it seems.

This will be fixed for the new site...the blog page is undergoing many changes, this will be one of them.
