Subject: Hi - upstate NYHi- just joined the site today after lurking for a bit. My wife and I are doing our second tri next weekend (Cayuga Lake Triathlon) - sprint distance. We did the same race last year, so looking to 1) better our times, and 2) get another race in in September. She's a great swimmer, and I do ok on the bike (even though most of my training is a 28 mile round trip commute), and we both HATE to run! But we're working on that - and that's where the most improvement could be made for both of us. Oh, and I need to learn how to put my socks on when my feet are wet! I think we're both ready to get more involved in tri's - it's great to have some extra motivation for training. |
