Subject: March 23rd Preseason indoor race[s] - Support TriMom's efforts to get to London!

Hey Folks.

Amy Moss-Archambault is running an event this Saturday (March 23rd) to raise money for a trip to the Tri World Champs in September.  It's a $20 donation to come and race.  She's partnering with Tour De Giro (my online virtual racing simulation) to provide entertainment for an inside ride with 18 people riding/racing at once.

Since the weather outlook is pretty abysmal for this weekend, why not come on down to the Community Church of Waterdown where she's rented a room, and ride a couple races?  Note that racing the race hard isn't actually required, but it is pretty irresistable

What to bring:
-Your bike (with wheels)
-Workout gear
-A smile

What we supply:
-Trainers
-ANT+ speed/cadence sensors or my powertap or a computrainer for power measurement (we had to dig pretty deep to get 18 slots worth of stuff)
-Tour De Giro on 3 TVs!

What we're expecting:
-1-3 virtual races on TdG with 18 people in a race (plus more if the church has good internet and some internet people join in)
-A ton of fun.
-Some fundraising to help send Amy to London.

Time:
-9:00am at the Community church (for a first ride at 9:30).  If you're late, you can warm up while one ride proceeds, and we'll drop you into the next one. 

Lots of spots remaining!  We're taking ride-day signups as well.

A little clarification:
-You can just show up, but an email to Amy ([email protected]) would be appreciated just so we know numbers to expect.

There's also a sweet swag bag with delicious nutrition products and possibly some deals.

Can you ride the simulations solo, or does it have to be in a group effort at a scheduled time?

You can ride solo, but it's more fun with other humans online.  It's even more fun when you've got some other folks playing in the same room as you, which is what we're going to have on Saturday.
