Hey Guys and Gals

I'm in the market for an entry level Road Bike.

Looking for a 54cm (ish... I'm 5'10" with a 32" inseam) frame that is good quality and worth upgrading the components on down the road but with decent components right now. Budget is $600 (ish... depends on how much I can convince my wife it's worth to spend on a bike... but 600 is a good start). Any leads or thoughts on places to look would be greatly appreciated! (i'm keeping my eyes open here and on my local craigslist).

I like the looks of the CAAD 9 or 10's (or 8' too I guess) with the 105 groupset. If anyone has one (in the 52-56cm range) and would be willing to part with it I'm your man!

I have a new 2012 Giant Defy C2 CD20  (medium) for $975 shipped. It's red/wht/blk... here's the link to it: http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-in/bikes/model/defy.composite.2.cd20/10747/52986/

I believe msrp was around $2k. I also have a Defy 1 that is an aluminum frame and a tad cheaper, but it's a small.

Hope this helps some and good luck!

$900's a little too high for me right now... It seems you have a ton of bikes up your sleeve... any CAAD's? I'd even go with a Tiagra groupset if I need too...

I own both a road bike and a tri bike. I am wondering which bike I should be riding during off season training, or does it matter?

The triathlon bike vs. road bike quandary. Before you even ask the road bike vs. tri bike question, you should have a couple sprint triathlons or duathlons under your belt.
