Multisport Watches/Bike Computer

Veteran 165   Central Mass |  Subject: Multisport Watches/Bike ComputerI am looking to upgrade from my Garmin 310xt to ,,, a 910 or 920xt or maybe the garmin vivoactive. Would going to a garmin bike computer be worthwhile as well? Curently have a Strada wireless ,, the 310 was good to switch on and off the bike but I could only swim with it stuck in my cap or else it would lose the signal on my wrist in open water. Plus its kinda like wearing a small television. Suggestions welcome. |

There is also a quick release kit out there that lets you mount the 920 to your bike like a standard cycling computer. Unless you would like lots of information onscreen at any given time while you're riding, or navigation, the 920 is a suitable replacement for a dedicated bike computer. |

Pro 5892 , New Hampshire | Subject: RE: Multisport Watches/Bike Computer I have a 910 that I used for all my racing, but getting the quick release off to get it on /off the bike wasted a few seconds in T1 and T2. I bought a Edge500 really cheap and have that on my bike. That way I don't need to mock around with the FR910. I really do like having a larger screen right in front of me on the bike, giving me a way to monitor power, cadence, heart rate and speed at any given point. |
