Swim
Comments: Had a decent swim, water was nice and cool. Transition 1
Comments: 50 yard jog from pool to transition area. What would you do differently?: Sit down and put on shoes. Get a new race shirt, Zoot pullover tank is a pain to get on. Bike
Comments: Had no idea of the course, so the rolling hills threw me for a loop. I felt like I was hitting the red zone on the first half. What would you do differently?: Need to work on hills. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Good Run What would you do differently?: Run Faster Post race
Warm down: Walked around sipping water, ate a banana and a bagel. What limited your ability to perform faster: Unfamiliarity with the course, no taper. Event comments: This was a very fun race. Less than 100 competitors. Fort Huachuca is about 10 degrees cooler than Tucson so it makes for a nice change in atmosphere. Last updated: 2004-07-26 12:00 AM
