Comments: Fun Course - Came out hard from the gun - 25.5mph for the first 6 miles. Fun course, just rolling thru it. Really found it quite fun. It was a PR for me for speed over 20 miles. In the end - probably could have hammered more, but was so excited to be over 23 mph I already thought I was going fast. Lessons learned for the next TT- yes I said for the NEXT. I plan on riding this one every year for comparisons on speed. I also wondered what I could have done with the Javelin all together. (Yes I did mentally drift a few times -- need to focus throughout if I want FASTER) So many questions but definitely alot of fun to just GO FAST!!! What would you do differently?: HAMMER HARDER!!!! Post race
Warm down: Rode for 3 mins just coasting along with Doug who's start time was after I was done. Went to watch him start (he broke 58 mins) and the leader thus far was 52 mins! unreal!! What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of Experience - I'll charge it up next time. Event comments: Good Race and fun to do, did not stay around long - had to get home, but definitely worth the time and effort! just saw final results - SWEET - I went 24.01 mph - pretty fast I think - but good enuff for last in my AG and the top dog was in my age group, one of 2 guys to pass me, BOTH were in my AG Last updated: 2007-07-15 12:00 AM

Woke Up and fed Luke - after he went to sleep, I had a bagel with cheese and OJ along with 1 endurolyte. Hit the road 45 mins pre registration - ate a pop tart on the way and drank some agua. Arrived and registered
Threw on the gear and rode a moderate lap of the course - 12.3 mi in 36:30. Got back and saw Doug. We chatted, I threw in GU and Torch preburn along with 2 endurolytes. Then off to the start line.
Had a GU 1 min before starting
